Prestigious Award for Aquila Game Reserve

Aquila Private Game Reserve near Touws River has been awarded second place for Service Excellence in the Accommodation category of the Lilizela Awards. The judging was largely based on guest feedback, measurements having been put in place to allow the public to cast their vote.
The prestigious Lilizela Awards were created by the National Department of Tourism in partnership with South African Tourism to reward the highest levels of excellence across the tourism industry.
The judges were drawn from Tourism Grading Council assessors, trade partners, tour operators and independent auditors who oversaw the judging process. Judges considered consumer feedback, site visits, TGCSA scores, accessibility and affordability, authenticity of the experience and the overall quality of the experience.
